What is bouldering?

Bouldering is a form of rock climbing that involves climbing short walls (roughly 10–15 feet high) without ropes. There are thick crash pads for protection and safe landing. Bouldering problems generally use the V-scale to represent level of difficulty. Indoor bouldering gyms regularly reset sections of the wall.

First successful V2! I improved my foot placement and hand positioning.

First successful V3! A sloper is a specific hand hold that is smooth and round and slippery. I hate slopers.

Able to comfortably finish several V3s, but getting shut down by the power-heavy ones. I need to build my finger strength and core tension.
